MaryAnn Brown, Associate


Ms. Brown is an executive healthcare leader with extensive experience working with clinical leaders in a wide range of strategic, operational and clinical issues.  Her areas of expertise include the development and implemenation of operational strategies to simultaneously impact a multitude of patient related issues. These issues include, but are not limited to, patient experience, clinical, quality and regulatory as well as finanical practices.  Most recently, Ms. Brown served as the clinical leader for the regional office of a large Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) in New York State where she developed the clinical strategies to address related acute care concerns for hospital members across the state as well as New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Prior to this, she worked to systemize the structure of a faculty practice plan for a large hospital system.   Ms. Brown also has extensive experience in Women’s Health – both operationally and clinically working in a major academic medical center in New York City.  In addition to her experience in acute and community health care, Ms. Brown has also worked in long term care facilities as a Chief Nursing Officer and has first hand knowledge of the issues around care across the continuum.   MaryAnn Brown received her BSN (Nursing) from Pace University and her Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Iona College.   She is board certified in Healthcare Management, is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and has served as an elected official of ACHE. She serves as a mentor to senior executives and mid-careerists in healthcare. Ms. Brown holds a faculty appointment as as Associate in the Department of OB/GYN and Women’s Health at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
